Profile

Jasper Kwok received his B.A. in English Studies from the University of Hong Kong in 2022. In 2024, he completed his MSt degree in Writing for Performance at the University of Cambridge, during which he wrote scripts for film, television, theatre, radio drama, stand-up comedy, and video games. His Master’s dissertation comprised two episodic screenplays of an original science-fiction mystery drama series, and an accompanying commentary that examined the challenges of incorporating plot twists and balancing action with worldbuilding exposition in the sci-fi thriller genre. Jasper’s research, teaching, and personal interests primarily lie in performance and storytelling, with particular focuses on scriptwriting, dramatic analysis, acting & voice acting, stop-motion filmmaking, and the creative & commercial practices of the entertainment industry.
